Cypher Media’s entrepreneurs and thought leaders

TY LIM – President & CEO
Ty founded Cypher Media in 2007 on the premise of providing a unique value proposition to advertisers through an engaging rewards product. Ty turned the idea to a profitable business overnight. Under his vision, direction, and execution, Cypher has broadened their product offering to quizzes and casual games while doubling revenues year over year. With this foundation, Cypher plans to unveil its next product offering, positioned to make it the leader in interactive content advertising. Prior to Cypher, Ty served a 3 year tenure at Traffic Marketplace, the 4th largest US ad network. As Director of Promotional Marketing, Ty grew topline revenues over 20%, and booked the strongest Q4 in company history.
Earlier in his career, Ty was a member of the Google AdWords team and managed marketing for a niche e-commerce retailer. Ty holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Irvine. In his free time, he enjoys hitting golf balls into lakes, getting caught bluffing in poker and spending time with his family.
